Release Notes

Improvements

       1.  Improved power-on (boot) behavior while charging.

      2.  Added a digital filter designed to minimize phase distortion in the time domain for a more analog-like sound.

      3.  Improved sound quality at low volume levels.

      4.  Improved gapless playback responsiveness between tracks.

      5.  Removed the fade-in at the start of the first track.

      6.  Improved volume control responsiveness and sound quality.

      7.  Increased DSD playback volume headroom (approximately 2×).

      8.  Further reduced 2nd- and 3rd-order harmonic distortion components.

Important Notes

  • A slight pop noise just before the first track plays after booting or waking from standby is normal.
  • We are currently working on improvements.
  • A minor pop may occur when using the forward/backward keys between DSD tracks, or when switching between PCM and DSD files.

Additional Note

Although this update is labeled v1.01, its actual scope of improvements is closer to a major update (approximately v1.8 in terms of added features and performance enhancements).
