Installation Instructions
1. Download the file below.
2. Connect your Calyx DAC to your Mac via USB, then power it on.
Set the mini switch next to the 5V jack on the rear panel to ON.
If powered on correctly, the front LED will light up.
3. Open the Terminal application.
4. Run the following commands in Terminal (press Enter after each line):
cd downloads
cd xmos_dfu_osx
source setup.sh
./xmosdfu --download Calyx_Firmware_3.3.0.bin
5. If the upgrade is successful, you will see messages similar to the following:
XMOS DFU application started
... Detaching device from application mode
... DFU firmware upgrade device opened
... Downloading image (Calyx_Firmware_3.3.0.bin) to device
... Download complete
... Returning device to application mode
※ The firmware can also be updated on Windows using the same procedure.

Important

Installation Instructions
Open the Calyx Driver Control Panel.
Go to Device 0.
Check the firmware version (RevisionID).
If the latest firmware for the Calyx Femto (RevisionID: 0x0330) is already installed, no update is required.
Go to Firmware Upgrade.
Browse to the folder where the firmware image was downloaded, then select the .bin file.
Click Start Firmware Upgrade.
If the upgrade fails, please try again up to three times.
※ If you have updated to the latest firmware on Windows, you do not need to update again on another operating system (OS X).
