The Calyx CTI integrated amplifier boasts a rhythmic and elastic sound, and is part of the rapidly growing group of Korean audio brands. Calyx is the brand name, while the company is called Digital & Analog. Digital & Analog has a solid track record of supplying digital amplifier chips to many audio companies and is well-regarded for its technological expertise.

The model name CTI stands for Calyx THE INTEGRATED. Its compact, simple, and stylish design is noteworthy, with a unique proportion, being longer than it is wide. This integrated amplifier delivers a powerful 200W/ch output. One of its key features is its impressive 80% efficiency.

When compared directly to the reference Accuphase P-6100 (power amplifier, retail price 900,000 yen, excluding tax), it inevitably falls short in terms of scale. However, with the 2S9900 (JBL) drivers, it still produces a remarkable performance. Although there is occasional sharp resonance in the high frequencies, the jazz bass is rhythmic and elastic, offering a pleasing listening experience.

레퍼런스로 비교되는 아큐페이즈 P-6100(파워 앰프, 소비자 가격 90만 엔, 세금 별도)과 직접 비교했을 때, 스케일감에서 다소 차이가 나는 부분은 어쩔 수 없습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 2S9900(JBL) 드라이버를 탑재하여 뛰어난 음질을 제공합니다. 고역에서 가끔 자극적인 울림이 느껴지기도 하지만, 째즈 베이스는 리드미컬하고 탄성이 있어 꽤 듣기 좋은 사운드를 자랑합니다.
